Wise stewardship of God's resources is an important part of GBC's philosophy of ministry. The Bible says: "Bring your full tithe to the Temple treasury so there will be ample provisions in my Temple. Test me in this and see if I don't open up heaven itself to you and pour out blessings beyond your wildest dreams." (Malachi 3:10 The Message)
The basics of stewardship are addressed in the 201 class on Sunday mornings, as well as the Crown Financial study on Wednesday evenings. Email the church office for more information.
Church members and regular attenders receive personalized offering envelopes in the mail each month to use in giving their tithes and offerings. Using these envelopes insures that monetary gifts are credited to donors contribution statements for tax purposes.

Tithes -- At GBC, we encourage everyone to follow the biblical principle of tithing regularly and consistently, as instructed in 1 Corinthians 16:2: "On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income...."
Eliminate in '08 -- This is our campaign to eliminate our current debt during 2008. By dividing our debt of $750,000 into units of $5000 each, we need 150 pledges to erase the debt and begin saving toward the next phase of our building program. We've already received 4 units, and 2 more pledges. Won't you prayerfully consider pledging one unit in 2008?
